copapy.filters.convolve#

copapy.filters.convolve(a, v, mode='full')#

Discrete linear convolution of two 1D sequences.

Overloads:
  • a (vector[Any]), v (ArrayType[Any] | array[Any] | Sequence[float | value[Any]]), mode (str) = 'full' → vector[float]

  • a (tensor[Any]), v (ArrayType[Any] | array[Any] | Sequence[float | value[Any]]), mode (str) = 'full' → tensor[float]

  • a (array[Any] | Sequence[float | value[Any]]), v (ArrayType[Any] | array[Any] | Sequence[float | value[Any]]), mode (str) = 'full' → array[float]

Parameters:
  • a (Any) – First 1D input

  • v (Any) – Second 1D input

  • mode (str) – ‘full’ (length N + M - 1), ‘same’ (length max(M, N), centered) or ‘valid’ (length max(M, N) - min(M, N) + 1, only complete overlaps).

Returns:

Result of the convolution with the size determined by the mode.
