copapy.arange(start, stop=None, step=1)

Create a tensor with evenly spaced values.

Overloads:

• start (int), stop (int | None) = None, step (int) = 1 → tensor[int]

• start (float), stop (float | None) = None, step (float) = 1 → tensor[float]

Parameters:

• start (int | float) – Start value (or stop if stop is None).

• stop (int | float | None) – Stop value (exclusive).

• step (int | float) – Step between values.

Returns:

A 1D tensor, of floats if any argument is a float.
